EB3 Guys,
Take it easy... This is just for humour, to have fun at these times.
No green card for you. Just work well for 6 years, enjoy life in US, enjoy sports cars by renting, not by buying, rent a big house, have a lawn and garden in back yard, grow your own vegetables. Have nice vacations like Hawaii, Jamaican islands, Vegas, Porto Rico etc.,Have fun in life. Do not go for green card. After 6 years, get nice job in India,own apartment near to office and ask your parents to live with you. Take kids to school . Have fun with them. Try to become director, AVP,VP,SVP,CEO,CTO and President. Do not go for green card. After you become director, buy a single family home and mercedez or BMW and have fun. Since you have not applied this time...you cant get in this years Quota..so get an job where you can get h1 sponsorship next year..So take off to india once your opt is over...get the employer to get you the h1b papers once approves and start to work next 08 Oct1...

On the same note I have a question for the Gurus.
My name is reversed ( first name and last name interchanged) on my SSN and hence on my credit cards, employment letters etc though my name is correct on my passport , H1 , I-797 and on files AOS.. etc.
Will this pose a problem in the name check process?
My attorney said I should change my name with SSN after EAD/AP arrives.
Let me know ur opinions.

I agree its tactic to scare people and attract attention. I think USCIS is far better placed today in 2009 compared to what it was in 2007. If that was not the case they would have just moved the Priority dates to Mid 2006 like they did last year. But this year they are much better prepared in their estimates. In Oct the dates might go back but it will definately not go back to Jan 2000 or U. They might take them back to mid 2004 and start slow advance from there. Next year Sep 10 bulletion hopefully they can take them to early. I am sure in Oct EB3 I will also come out of U and will be some where in early 2002 status at begining and will advance from there on.

Could not able to understand from where this EB2 Vs EB3 scenario came up, silly.
If somebody says EB3 filer is inferior to EB2 (in a way), then it is ridicules. Being said that, nobody has asked to them to opt for EB3, it was just the situation they were in when they started their GC journey. Let it be their educational qualification, experience or job requirement, they opted to go with EB3 with full consciousness and also due to some compelling reasons. If EB2 dates are moving forward why EB2 filers needs to be blamed / targeted for that? This doesn’t make any sense either.
Also, now nobody is stopping them to convert from EB3 to EB2.
Let us just stop this EB2 Vs EB3 crap and do something constructive. These kinds of fights will not take us anywhere.

Our forefathers travelled to the promised land in ships that were full of rats, without food or water. Several of them died while trying to reach here.
Once here on the promised land, we had to fight our way to create a free society that you are dying to be part of. America is land of entrepreneurs.
And any one that don't have an entrepreneurial spirit is not welcomed here.
What do you have to bring to the table?
OK...one moment of silence for your great forefathers...now please wake up and look around you to see whats going on...if people choose to deliberately ignorant and shoo way the reality, not even those souls of their ancestors can help them....
We can go all day back and forth about who is who and who is what and all..however eod this is a land of immigrants and thats how it is built and thats its fabric...like it has become a cliche...if u cant beat them join' tehm..
Live and LEt live is all i saY, nothing more...nothing less.. no one has to justify anyone about thier existence, that being said I would rather go use my valuable time for something else...

From february 2004 (expiry date of i-94 card) until april 1994 it looks like you accrued unlawful presence. The unlawful presence stopped when you filed the 485.
The unlawful presence was wiped out when you left and re-entered usa (the 3 year bar didn't kick in because the unlawful presence was less then 180 days).
You will be fine.
Just be truthful that you filed 485 before; you had divorce and all the employers that you worked with. Only thing they can get you on is if you try to embelish or hide things even though they were forgiven when you left and re-entered.

The petition looks great! I'm languishing in the queue since March 02 (PD early 2002). No IO is willing to listen to anything about my case. Sometimes I hink we should meet up with USCIS director and explain how unfair the whole system works and how individual cases have suffered!
