My suggestion to all is let's give it some time...When IV core delivers on the bill..The pie would be bigger and this whole discussion would be rendered meaningless in a minute....If everything is current we would not have the conversation at all....

Dude, You might be a new entry in to the ball of Immigration now. As said earlier , every one is free to judge and post the queries. If IV is shutting door of any questions you wouldnt have seen forum threads. There is enough discussion and direction taken on information being released to ALL members. Why one should complain IV not doing anything ?

Frankly, all I can do is register my disappointment at both your response and your attitude.While I get it that IV is actively involved in doing things over the years aimed at resolving this issue, I might feel that I could respect and maybe even understand these efforts better if IV kept its website up to date and all members who sign in updated on what's happening.
I have often seen threads on this site that have members complaining that IV is not doing anything - to which invariably the response is that one should join the donor forum. On the other hand we get newsletters from admin that ask up to tighten our belts etc. - and get more involved. Well, that cannot happen unless IV provides more updated information on what IV is actually doing, veiled references to behind the scenes activity and years of hard work are not enough to involve all those who have signed up here to become 'more involved'.
As for this discussion going nowhere I could not agree more - you see to have an open discussion or indeed debate - there must be at least 2 willing participants. And since you have already decided that you do not have time for the Qs of a mere non-paying member of this forum, I do not expect any better.
By the way, the way ahead is not to close doors, but to welcome questions and encourge those on this forum with curiosity to be more active. I haven't read anywhere about what would happen to existing approved labors but since they can no longer be substituted, my understanding is that they can only be used for the original beneficiary. If that person has left the company then that labor is just trash.
This should help because lot of people who have moved to other companies after the labor was approved, those labors will just be useless and taken out of circulation.
If this law does not apply to existing labors, we will still be in the same situation. BTW, what is a desi company. How come it can sell labors? Is selling labor legal?

Let me ask eveybody. Even after all this, why are these Desi consulting companys successful in the market? They have poor quality product (People with forged Resume), they are not charging lower rates, but still they are able to put there people in Projects?

In my view H1B problem is directly related to Retrogression problem. Lets step backwards and analyze this.
Why so many GC were applied at the first place that caused retrogression. Because a large number of people came on H1B to US. All these people who came to US on H1b did not actually had any extraordinary skills. These people somehow got in touch with these Desi Consulting companies and came here without any skill and without any projects. These desi consulting companies applied there GC irrespective of the fact that these guys have a job or not. Some of the people I know have sat on bench for years, living with their relatives, unable to get any job. But they had their labour filed. These knid of people would not have made to US, if these fadudent companies were not there.
Also big companies, have a policy not to apply GC before one year of service. The point was that these companys will file GC only if they feel that the employee adds value to the company. But with these desi companys people have filed GC even before joining the companys.
In essence if the GC process was working without these Desi companies, I can bet that the number of GC applied would have been much lower than what have we currently have.
Substituted labor has further added to this problem.

Friends, please suggest. I bought ICICI lombard 3 times previously, never had to use it, so no comments there. Now, I'm thinking of buying something better as I had heard horrible things about ICICI lombard.
Anybody who has had a parent with diabetes and taken insurance? If there were any problems, did the insurance pay the costs? If possible can you also mention what problems came up during the stay.

I got responses from pappu and Logiclife during the months of december and january. I didn't ask them any questions in Feb. so I did not notice they were quiet.

So How come all we hear from the core team is requests for contribution? There is no detail of any actions/efforts that are happening currently? It will certainly be more engaging for all members to at least know what efforts are being worked on currently? I think expectations need to work both ways otherwise you just have an autocratic organization that has to follow and do as the leaders choose to do.
